Today I mourn the passing of my soulmate, best friend and wife of almost 30 years – Janet. She fought so bravely for two years against cancer, but was finally taken from us yesterday after a sudden and unexpected downturn. Family were at her side at the end as she passed peacefully. Today the pillion seat is empty and the intercom silent …. for over thirty years we travelled together on two wheels. Goodnight my beloved sweetheart.

You have helped me a lot with you articles; your professionalism is the best I’ve ever seen in terms of motorcycling/servicing at home and it is very motivational for engineers like me. I think, this site and your attitude convinced me to buy my Rally Raid last year.
I am really sorry about your wife. I just married my fiancee this summer, and I know the passing away of your beloved fellow traveller, who will not embrace you from behind, what an unbelievable loss. Please accept my sincere condolences.
